Since the label’s inception in 1884, Bulgari has been synonymous with fine craftsmanship, immersive storytelling, and exquisite high jewelry. Now, fêting all of those years of artistry and culture, the house introduces the Icons Minaudiere collection, a line that weaves together vital aspects of the Bulgari legacy into one experience.

As imagined by Mary Katrantzou, Bulgari’s creative director for leather goods and accessories, the concept behind the occasion comes together in one objet d’art: the minaudière, a precious item that exists in the realms between jewelry and handbags. 

„Each minaudière was conceived not simply to hold objects, but to hold meaning, blending high craftsmanship with cultural storytelling. Carrying culture in your bag is both a metaphor and a reality, a way of cherishing the wisdom of women,“ Katrantzou said in a release. 

“This collection celebrates the living heritage of Bvlgari’s Icons, symbols that have transcended design to become part of our cultural language,” Katrantzou added. 

As any longtime admirer of the house may notice, each minaudière is crafted in line with one of the many Bulgari icons. From the sinuous, yet sophisticated Serpenti design to the instantly recognizable Diva’s Dream silhouette, the visual motifs most precious to the label take on new life in both minaudière and miniature vanity sizes. 

The campaign also celebrates both the fine artistry behind the archives that hold Bulgari’s signature icons and has invited five celebrated women who have each shaped contemporary culture in their own way to embody the minaudières.

Author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, model Linda Evangelista, actor Kim Ji-won, actor and model Isabella Rossellini, and architect Sumayya Vally all star in the campaign, adding to the lively, spirited dialogue behind each and every piece. In the campaign, each woman’s voice becomes clear, enriching the representations of iconic visual codes from Bulgari’s archives and championing values like strength, transformation, wisdom, allure, and identity.
