Last week, an interesting and unusually large transaction appeared on a blockchain explorer. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the Czech investor Dexter Investment Group carried out the largest domain transaction in history, purchasing the “I am rich” web domains from an unknown seller for nearly a seven-figure amount in euros.
This marks the highest price ever paid for domains in Central Europe. Previously, the record was held by dovolena.cz, sold in 2010 for €400,000. Dexter Investment Group has more than doubled that amount.
The domains have massive investment potential on the luxury goods market in the United Arab Emirates.
