Sabrina Carpenter has never been one for a traditional album rollout, and thank god for that. For her upcoming seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, arriving August 29, Carpenter has enlisted some fans and furry friends to do some promo.
Instead of a standard press release or surprise drop, she has been introducing her tracklist with the help of an adorable golden retriever puppy and a few very lucky fans. Beginning July 22, the singer kicked off the reveal by announcing track 12, “Goodbye,” in a playful Instagram post featuring fan Mariah holding the puppy. “Track #12 is ‘Goodbye,’ but Mariah is helping us say hello to our tracklist reveal,” Carpenter captioned.
Since then, she has continued unveiling a track from the album one at a time across Instagram and Twitter. The fan-led rollout not only spotlights her audience but also builds momentum around the project, with fans eagerly decoding each new title and checking in for the newest one. Songs teased so far range from heartfelt to cheeky, aligning with Carpenter’s signature mix of sincerity and wit.
Man’s Best Friend marks Carpenter’s follow-up to 2024’s Short n‘ Sweet, her sixth studio album, which features her breakout hit, „Espresso.“ Between her record-breaking singles and a string of high-profile appearances and cheeky tour antics, anticipation for the new project is already sky-high. And with every new song reveal, Carpenter proves she knows how to make an album release feel like an event—equal parts adorable, clever, and totally on-brand.
With her latest single, “Manchild,” already out, it’s safe to assume it will take one of the final three slots on the tracklist. But which songs will fill the remaining two?
Below, we’ve rounded up every track revealed so far as we wait for the last pieces of the puzzle.
