Condal also suggested the show’s next season will have eight episodes and cover some major events that readers are likely looking forward to. „The Battle of the Gullet“ is the major event many thought would end season two, and Condal has suggested this will be quickly explored in season three in dramatic and cinematic fashion. To fans who felt disappointed by the lack of action in season 2’s finale, Condal said, „We just wanted to have the time, the space to do it at a level that is going to excite and satisfy the fans and in the way it’s deserved.”
