Leave it to MAC to reinvent the lip liner game. The new Lipglazer is a glossy hybrid that delivers the definition of a traditional liner with the comfort and shine of a balm. It glides on effortlessly—no tugging, no dryness—yet wears like a long-lasting pigment. The finish is soft, shiny, and surprisingly comfortable, making it perfect for both crisp outlines and all-over color.

When you’re obsessed with beauty, the most exhilarating news doesn’t come from official announcements. It comes from soft launches and blink-and-you-miss-it Instagram teases. Maybe it’s a blurred-out bottle on a celebrity’s vanity or a barely-there swatch from a founder’s new routine. Then there’s early buzz from TikTok creators and beauty editors, showing off first-look samples before everyone else can even join the waitlist (guilty). If you know, you know. And if you’re anything like me—or my eagle-eyed group chats—you can spot a new product drop before it’s officially confirmed.
And once you’ve seen it, you’re hooked. You’re refreshing your inbox, waiting for that “available now” email, and counting down the days until a shipping confirmation lands—then you wait by the door as if it’s coming the same day. The moment that box arrives? It’s magic.
Sound familiar? I get it. Take it from someone who spent their teenage years watching endless makeup tutorials, reviewing eyeshadow swatches like it was serious business instead of practicing for the SATs. There’s nothing quite like peeling open a new, untouched box and admiring the gloss, the pigment, and the formula your skin is about to devour. It’s the same feeling as opening a fresh new set of colored pencils as a little kid—if colored pencils came with peptides, fragrance notes, and a $50 price tag.
But now, with buzzy brand collabs, next-gen formulas, and limited drops launching what feels like every five minutes, it’s hard to know what’s worth the hype. Maybe you’ve sworn off all of August 2025’s beauty launches together (in which case, I salute you for staying strong), or maybe you’re strategically eyeing your cart, wondering if your bank account can realistically handle a couple more so-called sweet treats.
Of course, when, like me, you have a borderline shopping addiction you can’t seem to quit, chances are you’re losing space in your makeup drawer and closets. Maybe your denial about being able to reorganize to make room for new additions is finally catching up to you. So, regardless of whether you can push our credit card limits just a little bit more, there’s always that issue. But hey, we’re trying to keep it under control in 2025.
The good news is, L’OFFICIEL has spent the last few weeks keeping tabs on the hottest new launches in the beauty world, so you can have an easier time deciding what deserves a spot in your collection.
Ahead, see L’OFFICIEL’s curated edit of August 2025’s beauty launches.
August 2025 Makeup Launches
Among the buzziest new makeup launches is Tower 28’s latest collab with beauty influencer Toni Bravo, the self-proclaimed CEO of blush. Together, they’ve dropped two limited-edition shades of the viral GetSet Blur + Set Matte Powder Blush—the first-of-its-kind dual-action powder that not only delivers bold pigment but also sets the rest of your makeup. The new shades, Sunset Shirley (a warm raspberry) and Downtown Daiquiri (a bright coral), are designed to pop on all skin tones, including deeper complexions.
Unlike other powder blushes that can read chalky or fade fast, this formula packs a punch and stays put. It’s especially ideal for oily skin types, offering a matte finish that holds up from morning through humidity-filled nights. Whether layered over a liquid blush or worn solo, it delivers the kind of payoff that lives up to the hype.

It’s the summer of the fruitiest, juiciest beauty—starting, of course, with lip products. Kylie Cosmetics just dropped a new Lip Butter Balm in Peach Mango: a sheer coral-pink that smells exactly like your favorite smoothie. It’s not just cute—it smooths lip lines and improves texture over time for that signature Kylie Jenner pout. The clear version even doubles as an overnight lip mask. To celebrate, the brand popped up in NYC this month with Van Leeuwen ice cream in tow—because what could be more summer than that?

Sarah Creal Beauty may be new to the game, but it’s already one to watch. Specifically designed for those with mature skin in mind, the brand is rooted in performance-first formulations that feel elegant without trying too hard.
This month, Sarah Creal launched its newest standout: the No Further Questions High Glide Peptide Lip Gloss. Available in four high-shine and two shimmer shades, the formula has a fresh, lightweight feel. It’s not sticky (thankfully), which is a welcome change if you’re used to glosses that feel heavy or gluey by hour two.
It’s infused with peptides, making it a hydrating option that reduces the appearance of lines on the lips. The gloss is also fragrance-free, vegan, and, despite its glossy payoff, feels more like a nourishing lip balm. Even the shimmer shades are subtle, adding dimension without veering into full-on glitter territory. The high-shine shades, on the other hand, are impressively pigmented and glide on with a single swipe.
The one drawback, however, is that the applicator is so soft it almost feels delicate, like it might snap if you’re not gentle. While that hasn’t happened to me, I definitely find myself applying it with a light hand. That detail doesn’t exactly scream luxury, but the rest of the packaging does: the gloss comes in a glass tube with a sleek gold tip that looks and feels high-end.
Overall, it’s a thoughtful entry from a rising brand that clearly understands texture, tone, and comfort, and how to bring them together in one swipe.

Danessa Myricks Beauty just dropped the Colorfix Stix—a cream stick take on the brand’s cult-favorite liquid eyeshadow. Available in eight shimmer and metallic duos, these multi-use sticks are designed for eyes, cheeks, and lips, making them perfect for summer travel or low-effort days when you’re not in the mood for a full face. The formula is ultra-creamy, long-wearing, and super blendable.
As someone who hit a major slump with eyeshadow (despite once being a serious palette collector), these have genuinely reignited my excitement. They’re quick to apply, easy to build, and versatile enough to use as a soft wash or a bold pop—all without needing a dozen brushes or tons of time.

In your search for the perfect lip oil, you’ve likely been stung by products that claim to be lip oils but feel more like tinted lip balms—or worse, thick, sticky glosses. It’s infuriating when all you want is that slippery glide with a lightweight feel. The good news? The Clarins Lip Oil isn’t one of those posers. It’s the real deal: slick, smooth, and actually hydrating.
And what if I told you that you can get two for the price of one? (Your credit card will thank you.) Just this month, Clarins made our dreams come true with new additions to their Canyon Kiss Collection: two Lip Comfort Oils in fresh, summery shades with a fruity fragrance. And when they say “comfort,” they mean it. Think: a tinted version of Vaseline’s tried and true Lip Therapy, but in a more lightweight formula and luxe packaging.
Let’s talk shades. Fleeting Dew is a shimmery peachy nude, while Rosy Grace leans with a soft, rosy red finish. Don’t let Fleeting Dew’s shimmer scare you; it’s subtle and gives just the right amount of glow. Both work beautifully on their own or as a topper layered over your favorite lip combo.
Pigment-wise, they sit in that perfect in-between space: not too sheer, not too bold. Still, they’re totally buildable, so you can dial it up or down depending on your mood. Either way, these are easily among the most comfortable lip oils on the market (and believe me, I’ve tried them all, from Dior to Summer Fridays). The best part? They’re ultra-hydrating and won’t cling to dry patches. It’s the kind of product you’ll reach for year-round.
My only qualm with the Canyon Kiss Lip Comfort Oil Duo is that, as someone who gravitates toward cool-toned lips, these shades aren’t ones I’d typically reach for. But the formula is so good, I’m convinced to pick it up in Chocolate or Plum—maybe even Honey while I’m at it.

If lip gloss and lip stain had a lovechild, it would be Trixie Cosmetics’ new Soft Serve Hydrating Lip Gloss Stain. And honestly, they nailed the name. It is exactly what it claims to be: a true gloss-stain hybrid that delivers both shine and long-lasting color in one swipe.
The formula is fruity-scented and hydrating, with a texture that feels comfortable and not at all sticky. Truthfully, it feels more like a tint with the appearance of an ultra-pigmented gloss. It’s available in four bold shades, each named (and scented) after its corresponding fruit: Strawberry Shortcut (a bright, playful pink); Berry Demure (a deep, rich berry); Make Me Plum (a cool-toned berry); and Sashay, Parfait (a vivit, reddish pink).
Though each retails for $12, you can also grab the full bundle for $35 (instead of $48).
I tried Berry Demure, and it smells exactly like blackberry—sweet, juicy, and nostalgic. While the color payoff is bold and more intense than I usually go for, it’s the kind of product I’d reach for on a night out. That said, it’s still workable for the natural-lip girlies. Again, a little goes a long way, so you can dab on just a touch for a sheer, bitten-lip effect. But if you’re a bold lip girl through and through, this is a dream come true.

During the sweltering heat, a foundation can feel too heavy, and a concealer too limited. But L’Oréal’s new Infallible Skin Ink 2-in-1 Foundation Concealer aims to offer the best of both worlds. The soft matte formula is designed to be weightless on the skin while still delivering long-lasting, high-performance coverage—blurring imperfections like a concealer and evening skin tone like a foundation. With its humidity-proof finish, it’s built for real-life wear in the most unforgiving conditions.

Big news for fans of the iconic NARS Orgasm powder blush: the cream version is finally back. Last year, NARS caused quite a stir in the beauty world when it temporarily pulled its blushes off the shelves to reformulate them without talc. Naturally, fans of the original Orgasm blush panicked; it’s a cult-favorite for a reason.
Then came The Multiple: the brand’s beloved multi-purpose cream stick suitable for cheeks, eyes, and lips. That, too, quietly disappeared. But as of this week, they’re finally back, better than ever, and they’ve returned with more than just the classics like Orgasm and Dolce Vita. The new lineup includes a wide 12-shade range, from soft, barely-there baby pinks to ultra-deep berries—all blendable, buildable, and wearable.
If you’re not already familiar with The Multiple, this cream formula is unlike most. It has a drier, powder-like texture, as if NARS figured out how to press a powder blush into a stick. That doesn’t mean it’s matte, though. It still delivers a soft, subtle glow. That said, it’s especially ideal for those with oilier skin, or for anyone who gravitates toward powder blushes but wants a more compact, travel-friendly alternative.
NARS The Multiple Soft Blur Blush Stick, $40, Sephora

And we’re not done with all the new lippies. TULA Skincare just dropped its latest lip launch earlier this week: the Glaze Plumping Lip Treatments. It’s available in three high-shine, ultra-sheer shades: Pink, Maple, and Iced. Lightweight yet plumping, these new glosses lean more hydrating than pigmented. The formula is with peptides and hyaluronic acid, which are powerhouse ingredients that work to deliver a smoothing, long-lasting plump.

August 2025 Skincare Launches
Cult-favorite Korean beauty brand Beauty of Joseon has finally landed at Sephora this month, bringing with it an exciting new launch. Say hello to Day Dew Sunscreen, a lightweight, silicone-free formula that offers SPF 50 protection without the dreaded white cast.
This cruelty-free, non-comedogenic sunscreen glides smoothly with a dewy finish, making it an excellent base under makeup. Early Sephora shoppers are already raving about how it truly lives up to its no-white-cast claim—something many other brands promise but don’t always deliver. One longtime sunscreen hunter even calls it their holy grail.
While many users with sensitive skin, including those with rosacea and eczema, appreciate its gentle formula, a few have noted that it can feel a bit greasy after a couple of hours. So if you have oily skin, this might not be your ideal match.

I first tried my cousin’s Laneige Lip Mask in the original Berry scent when I was 16 (yes, I was already deep into my beauty obsession then). I slathered on a thick layer before bed, and by morning, I was amazed. My lips felt incredibly smooth, and many of the lines have vanished. As someone with eczema, I’ve struggled with dryness and cracked lips for as long as I can remember. But this mask is truly one of the very few products, aside from Aquaphor’s Healing Ointment and Rhode’s Peptide Lip Treatment, that actually keeps the flaking and irritation at bay.
You’ve probably seen the Laneige Lip Mask all over social media. Or maybe you’ve spotted it in a friend’s skincare stash. Either way, it’s gone viral for all the reasons I just mentioned and more. Naturally, Laneige has since expanded the line with seemingly countless scents since I first tried it eight years ago (at the time, they only had it in Berry and Vanilla). The latest? Rainbow Sherbet, a limited-edition collab with none other than Baskin Robbins. It’s their fruitiest scent yet, though never overpowering. It’s quite timely, I might add—fruit-infused beauty is all the rage this year.

Fresh’s Black Tea Advanced Age Renewal Serum leans into hydration and firmness with a formula designed especially for mature or dry skin types. It’s packed with niacinamide to refine pores and even out skin tone, plus hyaluronic acid to help smooth, plump, and visibly tighten. The texture is milky and rich, more akin to a nighttime treatment than a lightweight daytime serum, making it well-suited for deeper, end-of-day replenishment.
Free of parabens and sulfates, the formula delivers noticeable results in terms of fine lines and elasticity. Still, it has a distinct scent that may not be ideal for those who prefer fragrance-free skincare. But for anyone looking for a creamy, deeply hydrating serum that delivers visible benefits, especially on mature skin, this one holds its own.

Albion Garden, the Japanese luxury skincare house with over 65 years of formulation expertise, has just introduced Authentique, its most advanced line to date. The five-piece range blends high-performance actives with cellular-level technology and the sensorial elegance typical of Japanese skincare. Among the launches is the Authentique Garden Essence Emulsion, a lightweight hydrator designed to optimize water retention and reinforce the skin barrier, particularly ideal for dehydrated or stressed skin.
It’s not a standalone powerhouse. Rather, the emulsion is best understood as a strategic support step. It preps the skin to better absorb whatever comes next in your regimen, making it a sensorial, luxe addition for those already invested in multi-step routines. With a silky texture that absorbs quickly, it’s a quiet overachiever, enhancing the overall efficacy of your skincare without demanding the spotlight.

Just this month, Clarins re-launched its top-rated Total Eye Lift eye cream, now reformulated with a retinol-alternative technology designed to target fine lines and wrinkles, including crow’s feet. It might not be a true eye lift in a bottle (but let’s face it, what is?), but longtime users say it does a great job of refreshing and smoothing out the eye area. So now that it supposedly offers a retinol-like ingredient, organic harungana extract, it’ll be even better at targeting wrinkles than ever before.
Truthfully, I’m not exactly the target audience—I’m in my early 20s, and, as an Asian woman, I haven’t seen many wrinkles crop up just yet. Still, after just two uses, I noticed my dark, sleep-deprived under-eyes looking visibly brighter and more awake. I was pleasantly surprised by that, actually. If I’m being honest, I’ve tried my fair share of so-called “brightening” formulas, including the cult-favorite La Mer, but none of them were quite life-changing for my dark under-eyes.
The bottle itself is surprisingly lightweight, which makes it ideal for travel. And while I haven’t always been an eye cream believer, this one may have finally converted me. It’s officially earned a spot on my permanent packing list, wherever my next trip takes me.

Just as you religiously care for your face and body to protect against sun damage, your lips deserve the same attention. After all, lip care is skin care. If you’re in the market for a treatment with just the right amount of sun protection, consider Image Skincare’s Daily Prevention Nourishing Lip Balm. With SPF 30, it’s an easy way to keep your lips shielded from sun damage, especially as the UV index reaches its peak.
This balm is especially great for daily reapplication. It goes on sheer and smooth, no white cast in sight, and the formula skips out on parabens, phthalates, and artificial fragrance. That makes it a good pick for anyone with sensitive skin or who just wants to keep their routine clean.
The best part? It does more than just protect. Packed with skin-conditioning ingredients like chamomile, vitamin E, and ginger root, it hydrates without feeling waxy. It’s a simple, thoughtful option for those who want their lip balm to work a little harder—especially during sunny months when SPF often gets overlooked.
Image Skincare Daily Prevention Nourishing Lip Balm SPF 30, $29, Image Skincare

But skincare doesn’t always have to break the bank. Luckily, Neutrogena is coming out with a newly reformulated addition to its Collagen Bank line on August 4. Meet the new and improved Reviving Eye Gel Cream, a lightweight, summer-friendly eye cream designed to support skin’s natural collagen production in an otherwise delicate area. The result? Brighter, plumper under eyes.
The updated formula includes niacinamide to help improve tone and radiance, along with Neutrogena’s patented micro-peptide technology, engineered to be twice as small as leading anti-aging peptides, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin. It’s ophthalmologist-tested and fragrance-free, making it suitable for daily use on sensitive skin. The bonus: it layers easily under makeup.
Loyalists to the original formula have praised the Collagen Bank Eye Gel Cream for alleviating sleep-deprived or dull under-eyes. If you’re in the market for an affordable yet effective boost, this one’s a no-brainer.

August 2025 Fragrance Launches
Loewe’s newest scent, Casa de Campo, is a quiet tribute to one of Madrid’s most expansive green spaces—a former royal hunting ground turned public park. As the latest addition to the Un Paseo Por Madrid collection, the fragrance is designed to conjure the feeling of a slow walk through tree-lined paths, surrounded by violet blooms, soft grasses, and warm afternoon light. It leans floral and woody, with layers of sandalwood and musk grounded by Loewe’s signature accord—an earthy note drawn from the Spanish rockrose.
The Un Paseo Por Madrid series is less about a place as a postcard and more about mood and memory. In Casa de Campo, violet isn’t sweet or powdery, but more herbaceous, like something carried on the breeze. The woodiness from sandalwood gives it a creamy depth, while the musk keeps things soft and grounded. The Loewe Accord adds a distinct touch—resinous and slightly wild, like crushed stems or distant smoke—giving the scent its sense of rootedness in the landscape.
True to the line’s design ethos, the packaging balances elegance with restraint. The frosted glass bottle, topped with a veined marble cap, gestures toward both botanical delicacy and architectural weight. Casa de Campo isn’t trying to overpower; it’s meditative, quiet, and nostalgic—a scent that feels like it’s been there all along, just waiting to be noticed.
Loewe Un Paseo por Madrid Casa de Campo Eau de Parfum, $355, Bergdorf Goodman
Coach’s latest fragrance, Coach Gold, introduces a new level of intensity to the brand’s scent lineup, blending warm and gourmand notes with a polished finish. Created by master perfumer Louise Turner, the eau de parfum opens with a burst of pink peppercorn and apple, leading into a floral heart of almond blossom and rose water. But it’s the base—anchored in vanilla, amber-like Ambrofix™, and cedarwood—that gives the fragrance its staying power and soft, radiant warmth.
Unlike many fruity-floral fragrances that lean overly sweet, Coach Gold balances brightness with a creamy depth, making it feel a little more grown-up. The almond blossom lends a subtly milky undertone that softens the sharper top notes, while the cedarwood adds a grounding touch. The result is a scent that feels both familiar and distinctive—modern without chasing trends, and bold without being overpowering.
The bottle, fully coated in metallic gold lacquer, carries the brand’s signature Horse and Carriage emblem and a nod to its fashion roots with a hanging “C” charm. It’s visually striking, but the real shift here is the more concentrated formulation, which sets it apart from previous Coach perfumes.
Coach Gold Parfum Spray, $98-130, Macy’s

Just one spritz of Kindred by Alice Panikian goes a long way—this is the kind of fragrance that lingers all day, even clinging softly to your clothes. Designed with clean, non-disruptive ingredients like Bulgarian rose absolute, lemon oil, orange oil, patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla absolute, it’s especially thoughtful for those sensitive to allergens or hormone disruptors, like Panikian herself, who lives with endometriosis.
The scent opens with juicy citrus and black cherry notes that mingle with soft, natural Bulgarian rose. As it settles, it warms into a floral-woody blend with a subtle gourmand touch, thanks to creamy sandalwood and vanilla. Kindred was developed in collaboration with Generation by Osmo—the first AI-powered fragrance house—under the guidance of renowned French perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, and led by Panikian.

Fendi’s new fragrance, Eaux d’Artifice, marks the brand’s centennial with a scent that blends heritage and imagination. Anchored in the Roman identity that defines the house, the perfume draws inspiration from Delfina Delettrez Fendi’s view of the Trevi Fountain at night—a personal yet theatrical starting point. The result is a mineral-aquatic scent layered with musk and juniper, meant to evoke the glimmer of coins in water and the mystery of Rome after dark.
Much like the rest of Fendi’s fragrance collection, Eaux d’Artifice is more narrative than novelty. It doesn’t rely on trends, but instead leans into atmosphere and symbolism. The mineral notes bring a cool, stony texture, while the juniper adds a fresh, resinous edge. Soft musk smooths it all out, lending a skin-like finish. The overall effect is moody and elegant—more jewelry than perfume, in Delfina’s words, meant to be worn close and speak subtly.
As the latest chapter in a fragrance line dedicated to Fendi’s family matriarchs and muses, Eaux d’Artifice adds depth to a growing olfactory archive. It isn’t flashy, but deliberate—a scent that reflects the Maison’s roots in craftsmanship and its quiet boldness.
Fendi Eaux d’Artifice, $330, Fendi

Sol de Janeiro has gone viral for more than just its cult-favorite Brazilian Bum Bum Cream—the brand’s warm, vanilla-salted caramel fragrance profile has become instantly recognizable. And at its price point, it’s hard to beat. The newest addition? Sundays in Rio, a limited-edition perfume mist that officially hits shelves this Friday.
Inspired by the vibrant energy of a Brazilian weekend, Sundays in Rio is meant to capture the joy of caipirinhas, endless dancing, and that unmistakable sense of aconchego—a Portuguese word describing comfort, connection, and warmth. It’s a floral gourmand that manages to feel both uplifting and grounding, opening with a zing of pink pepper and pear before softening into a creamy blend of vanilla and amber musk.
Perfumer Ugo Charron, who created the scent, says the goal was to bottle the sensation of touch: “My synesthetic approach and the cozy, Brazilian spirit of aconchego led me on a journey to bottle the sensation of touch. Blending velvety notes with warm vanilla and the tingling pulse of pink pepper creates a sensorial scent that’s deeply comforting.”
Whether you’re a longtime Sol de Janeiro fan or just fragrance-curious, this one’s worth a spot on your summer shelf, most especially if you prefer a softer, more natural musk over something overly intense or cloying.
Sol de Janeiro Sundays in Rio Perfume Mist, $26, Sephora

Jo Malone’s new Raspberry Ripple breaks from the brand’s usual understated, grown-up florals for something more playful and sweet-toothed. Recently launched as a Nordstrom exclusive, the limited-edition fragrance leans into summer nostalgia, drawing on raspberry ripple ice cream for inspiration. The result is a juicy, red berry-forward scent softened by white musk—more lighthearted than the brand’s typical offerings, but still elevated enough to feel intentional rather than juvenile.
Unlike Jo Malone’s usual fare, which often skews minimalist or classically refined, Raspberry Ripple feels younger, brighter, and less buttoned-up. There’s a tartness from the redcurrant that keeps the sweetness in check, and the dry down has a skin-like softness that wears well on warmer days. It’s the kind of scent that pairs easily with cotton sundresses and late afternoon park hangs.
Fans of fragrance layering may appreciate how easily Raspberry Ripple slots into a routine—it plays nicely with woods, citruses, and even soft florals to round out its fruit-forward opening. But it also stands on its own as a mood: fresh, flirty, and fleeting, much like summer itself.
Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple Cologne, $90-168, Nordstrom

Harlem Perfume Co.’s new Golden Muse Eau de Parfum is a soft, sunlit take on a tropical scent, blending creamy coconut, sea salt, and Tahitian monoi for a fragrance that feels like vacation skin. It’s fresh, subtly sweet, and lingers for hours without overwhelming—perfect for those who want something summery but not too loud. As with all Harlem Perfume Co. creations, it’s cruelty-free, making it a feel-good pick as much as a feel-good wear.
