Simplistic beauty is officially in our rearview mirror—fall is in full swing, and it’s all about bold expression. Pops of color, head-turning scents, and transformative skincare are the mantra, each offering the lasting impact and richness you want for the season.

Take Bottega Veneta’s new Mezzanotte fragrance collection, for example. Each scent is layered with depth, warmth, and the toasty richness that makes a fall fragrance linger beautifully on the skin.

Or consider Patrick Ta’s new eyeshadow palettes: ultra-buttery, highly pigmented, and effortless to blend. Even in their curated six-shade formats, they can take you from a soft daytime wash to a smoky evening eye, with shades that flatter every tone.

Not to be overlooked, Augustinus Bader’s new Vitamin C serum outshines every acne-prone formula with its lightweight, gel-like texture that visibly evens skin tone and texture in just weeks.

Then there’s Elm Biosciences, the skincare brand founded by Martha Stewart, which promises transformative results for aging, sun-damaged, or sensitive skin. Its formulas target pigmentation, irritation, and visible signs of stress—delivering powerful effects without the fuss of in-office treatments.

Maximalism doesn’t have to feel intimidating. L’OFFICIEL has tested and researched the season’s most luxurious launches so you can see what’s truly worth it. Ahead, discover the beauty products that make bold expression feel effortless this fall.

Fêting 10 years since Kylie Cosmetics launched, the beauty brand’s founder, none other than Kylie Jenner herself, looks back on her iconic King Kylie era—IYKYK—for inspiration. The anniversary collection— featuring the King Kylie Eyeshadow ($35), the King Kylie Matte Lip Kit ($36), King Kylie Supple Kiss Lip Glaze ($21), King Kylie Loose Highlighter ($26), and the King Kylie Highlighter Brush ($24)—draws its aesthetic and tried-and-true formulations from Jenner’s legendary look. Though highlighter and lip products are Kylie Cosmetics classics, with the emblematic lip kit back, there’s no time like the present to snag one of your own.

The King Kylie Lip Kit includes shades A Decade (soft pink and brown beige lip liner), Kylie Jenner Lips (warm rose with a slightly deeper liner), True Brown K (chocolate brown, inspired by the original shade), and Dead of Knight (true black, inspired by classic shade).

The limited-edition King Kylie collection launches on kyliecosmetics.com on 10/18.

Just in time for fall, YSL Beauty unveils its first-ever face palette, featuring two highlighters, three blushes, and one bronzer—all housed in ultra-luxe baby pink and gold packaging. The blushes and bronzer deliver intense color payoff and can be applied with a dense brush for precise placement or a fluffy brush for a softer, diffused effect. The highlighters, on the other hand, provide a natural, lit-from-within glow that’s noticeable but never overpowering. Each formula boasts a buttery, pigmented texture that glides seamlessly onto the skin and offers long-lasting wear.

It’s the collectible face palette you’ll use forever: all shades can be mixed together for a fully customized look or used individually depending on your mood. It can even double as eyeshadow.

Makeup by Mario expands its collection of best-selling, award-winning eyeshadow palettes with the new Ethereal Eyes Palette in Nature. Inspired by the earthy hues of fall, the palette features 12 shades of matte and shimmer powders ranging from base and transition shades to luminous, nature-inspired shimmers in greens, golds, and brown neutrals.

The matte shades apply effortlessly with a fluffy or dense brush (depending, of course, on placement), while the shimmers deliver their full effect when applied with fingers. Each shade is blendable and buildable, offering medium color payoff that can be intensified gradually—a signature “slowly but surely” approach favored by Mario Dedivanovic. The texture strikes a careful balance between velvety and buttery, making it easy to work with while still offering precision and control.
