At Dior, Parisiennes wandered the Tuileries in sharp Bar jackets and millefeuille cotton minis with wisps of fabric blowing in the breeze behind them. Chanel sent Watteau-back wool crepe tops down the runway with streamers floating over lace slip dresses, while Sandy Liang attached the trailing flourish to a pastel tracksuit.
For those not quite ready to commit to filmy accents that risk being stepped on, The Row proposed a practical DIY option: Knot a long scarf at the waist of a midi skirt or wide-leg trousers, and let it just graze the ground.

For Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, Matthieu Blazy presents his second ready-to-wear line at the Grand Palais in Paris. Lengths of vivid blue and black fabric stream from lace dresses, trailing behind the models as they walk along the runway’s sparkling floor. The trains fold in on themselves, rippling with movement as they cascade through the air.
Sandy Liang
In Sandy Liang’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, trains are attached to column skirts, the bottom half of the designer’s take on the practical tracksuit. Two neat columns, matching the navy blue or pastel yellow colors of the sporty ensemble, follow the model, lightly dragging on the floor. Peeking out from inside the tracksuit are buttoned, collared shirts. Pink bows accessorize the shoes, adding a light, whimsical touch to the look.
The Row
The Row’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection offers a unique spin on the train. Rather than attaching the train to the skirt or dress itself, the designers opted to consider the train as a separate, detachable element. Tying the long strip of fabric around the waist of a skirt or a pair of pants instantly creates a stylish train that sets off any outfit.

7 For All Mankind deliberately contrasted ultra-micro denim miniskirts with dramatic matching trains for their take on the trend. Creative director Nicola Brognano is not scared to put denim on denim in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The designs featured sweeping, floor-length trains and various layered accessories. 7 For All Mankind, a premium denim house, offers strong styling and lived-in pieces, easy to put on for a night on the town.
Loewe
From Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe, the house’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection is an invitation to play. The show took place at Château de Vincennes, in the suburbs of Paris, and the runway featured bright yellow tiles. Knitted minis in dark, rich colors featured exaggerated trains that unspooled from the side of the garment and tumbled to sweep the floor.
