There are officially „no tears left to cry“ because Ariana Grande is back on the road! After six and a half years off the concert circuit, the singer-songwriter kicked off her highly anticipated „Eternal Sunshine“ tour at Oakland Arena Saturday night.
The „break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored“ singer took a break from the stage and had her fair share of music and acting in that time frame. „Positions,“ „Eternal Sunshine,“ and „Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead“ were the most recent projects Grande worked on as an artist.
In August 2025, Grande announced that she would be back on tour the following June. Eight months later, her upcoming eighth studio album, „petal,“ is officially set to release on July 31. In other words, it seems like we will be living an Ariana Grande summer this season.
Grande commenced the long-awaited show with house, pop, and disco hybrid track „yes, and?“ to a sold-out crowd. Tracks such as „Safety Net,“ „Break Free,“ and „Hate That I Made You Love Me“ were nice nods to the artist’s discography and great additions to a setlist dominated by „Eternal Sunshine“ songs.
Other stops on „The Eternal Sunshine Tour“ include Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise, Fla., Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago. The final performance will take place in London on August 23.
After a spectacular first night in Oakland, the artist is preparing for her second round Tuesday night. For now, Grande is sure to bring chic fashion, telenovela-esque drama, and incredible vocals to each stop on her tour.
„… a night I’ll never erase ♡ 🧸 !,“ Grande wrote in an Instagram post Monday morning. „See you tomorrow for night two, Oakland, I love you.“
